About Kwale County

Kwale is a small town in and the capital of Kwale County, Kenya. It is located at around 4°10′28″S 39°27′37″E; 30 km southwest of Mombasa and 15 km inland. The town has an urban population of 10,063. It is next to the Shimba Hills National Reserve.

Qualifications

  • Be a resident of Kwale County
  • Be a Degree/Diploma holder
  • Be an Artisan Certificate holder
  • Between 21 and 35 years of age
  • Have passion and experience in serving the local community
  • Must be willing to commit their time to the assignment for the entire period of the programme
  • Good communication and excellent writing skills in Swahili and English
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced dynamic working environment
  • Creative and committed in the assignment of duties
  • Readiness to be deployed to any workstation within the County.

Duration of Internship: Six (6) Months
