How To Join The Canadian Forces Health Service Group In 2024
The Canadian Forces Health Service Group (CF Have Svcs Gp) is a formation of the Canadian forces found within the Military personnel command. CF H Svcs Gp includes both the Royal Canadian Medical Service and the Dental Branch (Canadian Forces) and is responsible for the entire military health, ranging from education, clinical services, research, and public health.
CF H Svcs Gp is equally made up of health professionals from 40 occupations (or more) and expertise in 120 units and more detachments in Canada and beyond.
Requirements To Join The Canadian Forces Health Service Group
To Join, The Basic Requirements Include;
- You must have completed a Basic Military Officer Qualification training at the Canadian Forces Leadership and Recruit School in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec (for officers).
- A rigorous physical fitness program is also a vital part of basic training.
- Military Officer Qualification training is provided in English or French and successful completion is a prerequisite for further training.
Eligibility
- You must be a Canadian citizen
- You must be at least 18 years old (17 years old with parental consent), except:
For the Paid Education programs – You may be 16 years old (with parental consent)
For the Primary Reserves – You may be 16 years old (with parental consent) and must be enrolled as a full-time student.
