Dementias Platform UK Autumn Academy: 2021 Cohort Data Analysis
The DPUK’s all-new Autumn Academy is a week-long series of lectures, presentations, and group workshops giving researchers in-depth insight into cohort data analysis techniques.
The expert line-up of presenters, lecturers, and workshop leaders will explore cohort analysis techniques including linear/logistic regression, machine learning, survival analysis, latent growth curve models, and cross-lagged panel models.
The Autumn Academy is aimed at experienced data analysts who are seeking to expand their repertoire of analysis techniques. Participants will be working with cohort data in the DPUK Data Portal to learn new skills and work on real research projects. The Data Portal is a dementia-optimised health research data repository of more than 50 cohorts with over 3.5 million participants.
Cost And Bursary
- The fee for the course will be £100, with a small number of bursaries available. Fees will not apply to participants based in low or middle-income countries.
Eligibility
- Open to participant from all over the world;
- Applicants should be experienced data analysts who are seeking to expand their repertoire of analysis techniques.
How To Apply
The DPUK Autumn Academy: Cohort Data Analysis will run this year from September 27 until October 1. Sessions will take place virtually. Apply by the deadline of August 31.
