Medical courses are those courses that are strongly related to the field of the medical profession. Often, these courses offer in-depth knowledge of medicine and are usually competitive, requiring you to be on your books or hit the library 24/7, but believe me, these courses pay a lot.

It’s common to find young kids playing around and screaming “I want to be a doctor when I grow up” it’s cool, but what happens if you can’t achieve that? You don’t end your dreams simply because you can’t be a doctor, there are other juicy courses aside from medicine that you may fall madly in love with and excel at and still be as happy as doctors.

Below is a list of medical courses and basic medical courses you could choose from in case you can’t have your dream course. Note, this doesn’t make you a loser, as long as you keep pushing

You need physics in your A level result for your entrance examination (JAMB) and in your first year of study, however, physics may not be a core course anymore from your 200 level because you’ll be doing more of the courses.
