These scholarships of $25,000 (tuition only) are offered to an unstated number of admitted students each application cycle, including all NYU Wagner degree programs and international students. Awards are based solely on the strength of the application and the contributions the Graduate Admissions Committee believes the applicant can make to the NYU Wagner community.  No additional application components are required. Also, NYU Wagner will continue to accept applications after the deadline on a space-available basis.

2. Presidential LEEP Scholarships at Clark University

Clark University’s Presidential LEEP Scholars Program is part of the University’s pioneering model of education, Liberal Education and Effective Practice (LEEP), which combines a robust liberal arts experience with authentic engagement in the world and workplace for undergraduate students. Candidates are encouraged to apply for this scholarship if their high school results place them at the top of Clark University’s applicant pool. Candidates stand to gain the following:

3. Emerging Global Leader American University Scholarship

The American University EGL must be dedicated to positive civic and social change and will return home to improve under-resourced, underserved communities in his/her home country. The AU EGL scholarship covers full tuition, room, and board for one international student who will need a visa (preferably an F-1 or J-1 student visa) to study in the United States. The scholarship does not cover non-billable expenses such as health insurance, books, airline tickets, and miscellaneous expenses (total cost is approximately U.S.$4,000 per year). The American University EGL scholarship of $61,157 is given for a total of four years of undergraduate study, based on continued satisfactory academic performance.

4. Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI)

IUPUI has scholarships and funding for all types of international students: freshmen (first-year students), students who transfer from other universities, current/continuing students, and graduate students. IUPUI’s international student scholarships range in value from $5,000 to $27,000 per year. Some merit scholarships can be combined with some competitive scholarships. SAT or ACT scores are considered for merit and/or competitive scholarships.

5. Illinois State University

There is a minimum $44,000 award (minimum $11,000 per year renewable for up to four years) for new freshmen from traditionally underrepresented regions or students who have overcome hardship in achieving their academic goals. The minimum credentials required to be invited to apply are an ACT score of at least 25 (1150 SAT) and a cumulative high school GPA of at least 3.4 on a 4.0 scale. In order to be eligible, international freshman students must have an official ACT or SAT score.

6. Mork Family Scholarship, University of Southern California

The University of Southern California, Mork family Scholarship offers a number of competitive scholarships to international students. These include the full-tuition, four-year Mork Family, Stamps Leadership and Trustee scholarships, the half-tuition Presidential Scholarship, and the one-quarter tuition Deans Scholarship. The Mork Family scholarship gives full tuition (approx $49,000), plus a $5,000 stipend to ten (10) candidates. The average SAT and ACT scores of recipients are in the top 1 to 2 percent of all students nationwide in addition to such things as academic achievement, talent, perseverance, innovation, involvement, and leadership. A maximum of ten scholarships is awarded each year.

7. International Traina Scholarship at Clark University

Clark University offers the International Traina Scholarship which is open to exceptional incoming students who have proven through work in high school, as well as overall application strength, that they are ready to perform at the highest level when they enroll at Clark. A scholarship of no less than $80,000 ($20,000 for four years contingent upon meeting academic standards for renewal) and a guaranteed $2,500 taxable stipend for a paid internship or research assistantship taken for academic credit during the summer following the sophomore or junior year is included with the award.

8. International Cultural Service Program (ICSP), University of Oregon Scholarships

The ICSP scholarship awards 30–40 competitive scholarships to international students each year. Scholarships apply to tuition only and range from $7,000–$27,000 per year. The ICSP scholarship has a cultural service component that requires students to give presentations about their home country to children, community organizations, and UO students, faculty, and staff. ICSP scholarships are based on financial need, academic merit, and the ability to make presentations to diverse groups of people. ICSP scholarships are renewable.

9. Iowa State University Award

Iowa State is committed to enrolling a diverse and talented student population. The International Merit Scholarship is awarded to students who have demonstrated strong academic achievement, and outstanding talent or achievements in one or more of the following areas: math and sciences, the arts, extracurricular activities, community service, leadership, innovation, or entrepreneurship. Incoming international freshmen candidates and transfer candidates are granted $8000 each year of their stay in the University.

10. Illinois Wesleyan University International Student Scholarships

Illinois Wesleyan University grants qualified international candidates several scholarships based on their outstanding academic achievement and test scores on the required entrance exams.
