About Turkana County

Turkana County is a county in the former Rift Valley Province of Kenya. It is home to the Turkana people. It is Kenya’s largest county by land area of 77,597.8 km² followed by Marsabit County with an area of 66,923.1 km².

Qualifications

  • Be a resident of Turkana County.
  • Degree/Diploma holder
  • Artisan Certificate holder
  • Between 21 and 35 years of age;
  • Have passion and experience in serving the local community;
  • Must be willing to commit their time to the assignment for the entire period of the programme.
  • Good communication and Excellent writing skills in Swahili and English
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced dynamic working environment;
  • Creative and committed in the assignment of duties.
  • Readiness to be deployed to any workstation within the County.

Duration of Internship: Six (6) Months
