About Kiambu County

Kiambu County is one of the 47 counties in the Republic of Kenya. It is located in the central region and covers a total area of 2,543.5 Km2 with 476.3 Km2 under forest cover according to the 2009 Kenya Population and Housing Census.

Qualifications

• Be a resident of Kiambu County
• Be a Degree/Diploma holder
• Be an Artisan Certificate holder
• Between 21 and 35 years of age
• Have passion and experience in serving the local community
• Must be willing to commit their time on the assignment for the entire period of the programme
• Good communication and excellent writing skills in Swahili and English
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced dynamic working environment
• Creative and committed in assignment of duties
• Readiness to be deployed to any work station within the County.

Duration of Internship: Six (6) Months
