KCSE Results 2020: Top 15 Candidates In 2020 National Exams & Scores
– The 2020 KCSE results were officially released on Monday, May 10, by Education CS George Magoha
– The CS informed a total of 741,161 candidates sat for the examinations
– The male candidates in the exams outnumbered their female counterparts
The 2020 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination results have finally been released.
During the official release of the results at Nairobi’s Mitihani House, Education CS George Magoha informed at least 747,161 candidates sat for the exam which began on March 26, 2021.
Of the 747,161 candidates, 380,327 were males, the remaining 366,834 represented the females.
He also assured that the government had put in place plans to accommodate all the candidates for their post-secondary education regardless of the results they post.
“All candidates have a place in our education story. The government will ensure that every child in the country has the chance to pursue their careers…They all have the ablity to progress to other levels under the government plan of zero wastage” said the CS.

Kenya High School outdid itself among the top schools by producing six of the 15 top learners.
In his speech, Magoha indicated that 893 candidates were able to score an A (plain), an improvement compared to 2019 when 627 candidates scored the honoured grade.
Further, the CS said a total of 143, 140 had scored university entry grades compared to 125, 747 in 2019.
A total of 223 special needs students scored C+ and above.
