– The Ghana Education Service has rescheduled the reopening date for final year students in Senior High Schools
– The GES indicated that they should report to school on May 5 instead of April 6.
– The directive applies to all Form 3 students in both single track and double track schools
The Ghana Education Service has issued a circular indicating that final year students in the Senior High Schools are to report to school on May 5.
This circular comes when most students were to be reporting to their various schools on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, as earlier announced by the GES.
The circular noted that the reopening for Form 3 students has been rescheduled to May 5, 2021, instead of April 6, 2021.
The directive is said to apply to all Form 3 students in both single track and double track schools.
It noted that further details will be announced. All other arrangements on the calendar remain unchanged.
This circular has not been met lightly by most people as they claimed the timing of releasing this official document is wrong.
Most people were of the view that considering the distance that most students had to travel before getting to their schools, some were already in school.
