  • People living with Disability are required to pay a fee of INR 500 per paper but after the deadline, they’ll be required to pay a fee of INR 1250.
  • All other candidates are required to pay INR 1500 per paper but after the deadline, they’ll pay a fee of INR 2000.

GATE Exam Date

GATE Exams are always conducted once a year.

GATE Exam dates for 2022 are 5,6,12 and 13 February, 2022.

GATE Exam Pattern

  • GATE consists of 29 papers and 2 sections (General Aptitude and Candidate selected subject)
  • GATE questions consist of Multiple Choice Questions, Multiple Selected Questions and Numerical Answer Type.
  • It’s Design include Application, Analysis, Comprehension, Recall and synthesis.
  • GATE Exams consists of 65 questions ( which include Engineering maths, subject questions and General Aptitude)
  • Engineering Maths = 13 marks, Subject questions= 72 marks and General Aptitude = 15 marks (Total=100 marks)

How Long Is The GATE Test

The duration of the GATE Test is 3hours

How Is GATE Score Calculated

Each question carries 1or 2 marks. The total correct answers are summed up to get the candidate’s score.
