The Risk Intelligence Unit of Discovery Health has an exciting opportunity available for a high calibre individual interested in an analytical role in population health management. The internship is for a period of a year, with the possibility of full-time employment thereafter.

The role of the analyst will be to assist with the production of reports and perform analyses related to these reports when required. 

This encompasses data extraction, data analysis, and reporting, with a specific focus on disease management programmes.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Matric
• Tertiary Qualification in one of the following (or related) fields:
  • Information Systems and/or Technology
  • Computer Science
  • Mathematics
  • Statistics
• Analytical work experience in the financial or health services industry (Advantageous)
• Exposure to working with MS SQL (Advantageous)
