About Laikipia County

Laikipia County is one of the 47 Counties of Kenya, located on the Equator in the former Rift Valley Province of the Country. Laikipia is a cosmopolitan County and is listed as County number 31. The county has two major urban centres: Nanyuki to the southeast, and Nyahururu to the southwest.

Qualifications

• Be a resident of Laikipia County
• Be a Degree/Diploma holder
• Be an Artisan Certificate holder
• Between 21 and 35 years of age
• Have passion and experience in serving the local community
• Must be willing to commit their time to the assignment for the entire period of the programme
• Good communication and excellent writing skills in Swahili and English
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced dynamic working environment
• Creative and committed in the assignment of duties
• Readiness to be deployed to any workstation within the County.

Duration of Internship: Six (6) Months
