  • Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) certificate with at least 2 principal passes at the same sitting.

The Law Development Centre (LDC) is an educational institution that was established in Uganda in 1970. It is located on Makerere Hill along Gadafi Road, outside the main campus of Makerere University. The center offers diverse legal courses and is the only institution that offers the Bar course for the postgraduate diploma in Legal practice.

4. Kampala International University School of Law

Nkumba University School of Law (SLAW) received full accreditation from the Law Council in 2007 and the National Council of Higher Education (NCHE) in 2016. The school was founded in 2005 by the late Professor Joseph M.N Kakooza.

6. Islamic University in Uganda, Faculty of Law

The Faculty of Law was established in September 2004 along with seven other facilities of the Islamic University in Uganda. The faculty teaches and impacts students on both common law and Islamic law (Shariah).
