Do you find it difficult in sending a please call me on Safaricom, Telkom, and Airtel Kenya? If yes, then this informative article is for you. You will be given detailed information on how to send a please call me on Safaricom, Telkom, and Airtel Kenya.

A USSD is a quick code or a feature code that assists mobile phone users to gain access to a number of services in a prompt manner. USSD codes often begin with a * and end with a #, and can be dialed on any cellphone.

Please call me as it’s popularly known is synonymous with Safaricom who were the first to offer the service, however, a similar service can now also be found on both Airtel and Telkom Kenya. This service simply helps notify the other person that you do not have airtime to call and need them to call instead.

How To Send Please Call Me On Safaricom

Due to the limited income of most Safaricom subscribers, people keep flashing when trying to contact others and this creates network congestion. Flashing is a practice of contacting another mobile phone user then disconnecting the call before it’s answered. This practice offers mobile users the opportunity to alert the person they want to talk to even though they either can’t or won’t pay for the call. While flashing is cost-free for users, it is very costly to the network bandwidth.

This is the reason why Safaricom decided to introduce a flashback service that offers all subscribers five free SMS messages containing a predefined message that states “Please call me. Thank you”. Though these messages may be annoying to the receiver especially if the sender is not serious, the Safaricom please call me messages are still useful when a person is in trouble, and they do not have airtime. This practice also gives parents and guardians a reason to buy their children’s mobile without the need to get them airtime.

So, when you run out of airtime, and you need to make a call, you can either send a please call me, or explore other options like okoa jahazi (the advance airtime service) or redeem your Bonga points for airtime or minutes.

But, if you already have an okoa jahazi which you haven’t repaid and you don’t have Bonga points, the only option you have is to send a please call me a message. This service is free, and it will inform someone that you want them to contact you back. You only need to know how to send please call me from Airtel to Safaricom, Safaricom to Safaricom, or Safaricom to Airtel. Similar services are also provided in Telkom and Airtel Kenya.

Steps For Sending The Flashback
