Job Title: Senior Assistant Web Master

Job Type: Full Time

Qualification: BA/BSc/HND, MBA/MSc/MA

Experience: 6 Years

Job Field: ICT / Computer

Grade 11(1 Position) – UOK/ADM/2/02/22

Qualification/Experience:

• Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or its equivalent from an accredited and recognized University.

In addition, applicants must have the following:

• Minimum of Six (6) years work experience in a relevant field.
• Working experience with CMS (Drupal is preferred)
• Experience with LAMP and scripting such as: PHP, Apache Web Server, and MySQL.
• Proficient in Bootstrap, HTML/CSS, XML and development best practices.
• Knowledge of web analytics and SEO (Google analytics is preferred)
• Experience in developing and maintaining databases.
• Master’s Degree in Information Systems or its equivalent from an accredited and recognized University will be an added advantage.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Applicants must have a Masters degree in Library and Information Sciences majoring in IT or its equivalent from an accredited and recognized University.

In addition, applicants must have the following:

• A Bachelors Degree in Library and Information Sciences with Specialty of Information Technology/systems from an accredited and recognized University.
• A minimum of nine (9) years working experience three of which should be at grade 11 in a well established and automated academic library specializing in ICT Services.
• Presented papers in conferences/ workshops
• Be computer literate
• Hands-on knowledge on use of library management systems.
• A member of a relevant professional society/Association.
• Broad knowledge of the range of solutions currently available for library catalogues and archival finding aids, including search and discovery tools and other applications that enable integrated access to analog and digital collections

• Applicants must have PHD in the following areas of specialization; Medical Surgical Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Critical Care Nursing, Oncology Nursing from a recognized University.

OR

• A master’s degree in relevant area of specialization from a recognized University and with at least three (3) years full time teaching experience at University level as Assistant lecturer or Tutorial fellow or in research or industry.
• In addition, applicants with master’s Degree must have the following;–
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized University.
• Possess a valid practice license
• A minimum of 24 publication points of which at least (16) should be from referred journal papers and;
• Show evidence of attendance and contribution at learned conferences, seminars or workshops.
• Be an active member of professional body.
• Show evidence of registration for PhD degree in relevant area.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach and assess courses in one’s discipline at both undergraduate and postgraduate Level
• Supervise undergraduate projects and other experiential learning programs
• Supervise dissertations/theses at the graduate level.
• Participate in the development of undergraduate and postgraduate courses
• Initiate, promote and participate in research projects
• Provide professional and community services and initiate linkages and fundraising.
• Carry out administrative and other duties & responsibilities as may be assigned.
