University of Kansas Application Fee Waiver Code 2024/2025

University of Kansas Application Fee Waiver is granted by the university to reduce the amount the college charges you for the application fee. The waiver eliminates the application cost but can’t be used for any other educational expense.

How Do You Know You’re Eligible For This Waiver

The University of Kansas application fee waiver is for economically disadvantaged students and for U.S. veterans and active duty military.

To be considered for an application fee waiver, a student must submit a complete application and be eligible for admission. Application fee waivers will be awarded to admissible students who have submitted an application for admission, transcript, test scores, and this form on the basis of funds available.

To receive this waiver, select “Request Fee Waiver” on the payment page of your KU admission application. This option will be available to you only if you indicate on your application that you’d participated in any of these eligible programs:

ACT/SAT Fee Waiver Status

  • A Federal TRIO program
  • Educational Opportunity Center
  • Federal Free/Reduced Lunch Program
  • KC Scholars
  • LULAC
  • Student Support Services
  • Talent Search
  • Upward Bound.

Military Fee Waiver

If you are a U.S. veteran or active duty member of the U.S. Armed Services, you are eligible for a military fee waiver. When filling out your KU admission application, let us know you are a veteran or active duty military member, and then select “Request Fee Waiver” on the payment page. This option will only be available if you previously listed your military experience.

To verify your veteran or military status, submit a copy of one of the following forms:

A copy of your orders;

  • AARTS
  • SMARTS
  • DD214

2. Complete application and upload documents: These documents could include:

3. Submit your application and pay the fee

  • International Degree Seeking Fee – $75
  • International Non-Degree or Certificate Fee – $75
  • Domestic Degree Seeking Fee – $65
  • Domestic Non-Degree or Certificate Fee – $50

4. Your application will be reviewed and an email will be sent to you.

How To Edit Admission Application Fee Waiver Online

Here are the steps you need to follow to edit your admission application fee waiver online;

  • Log in to your account.
  • Click on Start Free Trial and register a profile if you don’t have one yet.
  • Upload a file.
  • Select Add New on your Dashboard and upload a file from your device or import it.
  • Then click Edit and sure to make changes to the details that need editing.
  • Save your file. Choose it from the list of records. Then, shift the pointer to the right toolbar and select one of the several exporting methods: save it in multiple formats, download it as a PDF, email it, or save it to the cloud.
