The South African Football Association (SAFA) is a member of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the national governing body that takes administrative responsibility on the football activity in South Africa. It was established in 1991, is the second Football Association in South Africa to be named in the South African Football Association and it is equally the second Football association in South Africa to be affiliated to FIFA.
The South African Football Association’s senior team began representing South Africa at the Africa Cup of Nations and FIFA World Cup since its admission into FIFA in 1992. During this time, South Africa hosted several editions of the COSAFA Cup, the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations, and the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
SAFA unlike its predecessors allows for mixed race, meaning anybody from any race can participate. Additionally, The South African Football Association is tasked with the responsibility of overseeing to the administration of the South African national football teams (this includes both men and women’s team) and the third tier and below of the South African football league systems.
Registration And Details
The registration process is quite easy but you’ll have to download the South African Football Association application form online.
The application form must be completed by the person applying for the Players Agent’s License which will be issued by the South African Football Association (SAFA).

How To Register A Soccer Team With SAFA
Interested Clubs can enroll by downloading and completing the MYSAFA Club Pro registration form and then forward the completed form to their LFA. Only clubs in good standing with their LFA are registered, and only forms forwarded to support@mysafa.net from the SAFA structures will be accepted.
How To Register For A Soccer Academy In South Africa
Interested applicants should download a soccer academy registration form and sign up to become a member. The application form must be completed by the person applying for the Players Agents License. The South African Football Association issues the license.
