Rift Valley Academy Kenya is a Christian boarding school that has been in existence for more than a hundred years. It is located in central Kenya and serves about 500 students representing about 80 mission organizations from 30 nationalists across the world.
Apart from the mission students, the school also accommodates other non-mission students from Kenya and expatriates. The main focus is to have learners grow holistically through the inculcation of Christian values and teachings in tandem with the school curriculum.

RVA sits on the highlands overlooking the beautiful Rift Valley escarpments.
It is constructed on a 90-acre parcel of land and stands at an elevation of about 7,000ft. The school is always frequented by animals, including friendly baboons, monkeys, and other exotic birds from the region owing to the location. The high elevation has seen locals give it a nickname as the school in the clouds. RVA can also be accessed through the Kijabe hospital route.

Admission
The following is the admission process:
- Fill the Request More Information form. You will receive feedback from the admissions office on the necessary information required for admission.
- Attach the supporting documentation and the filled-out form.
- Pay a non-refundable processing fee.
- Your child will be placed in a waiting list after a thorough review by the admission office.
- If your child is accepted, you will be required to send an enrollment deposit together with the enrolment form. These items must be received within the first 30 days of acceptance; otherwise, the chance will be granted to the next best student.
- After receiving and reviewing the documents together with the enrollment deposit, you will be notified on the admission date.
