Orange Corners Programme 2024 for Aspiring Entrepreneur in Nigeria

The Orange Corners Nigeria Incubation Programme, an initiative of the Kingdom of Netherlands and implemented by FATE Foundation, empowers aspiring entrepreneurs to transform their dreams into thriving realities. Over the past five years, they have proudly nurtured 180 businesses through nine (9) cohorts, each a testament to the transformative power of their dynamic ecosystem.

The programme ensures capacity building in the form of trainings, master classes, events, coaching & mentoring, and access to potential customers, markets, and financing. The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Lagos and FATE Foundation aim to contribute to a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in Nigeria, which provides economic opportunities, skills, and economic empowerment for the youth.

The Incubation programme combines a mix of interactive enterprise training, mentoring, advisory and business support services to enable each participant fully develop their idea from a concept to a viable product/service.

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be between 18 – 35 years old
  • Reside in Lagos
  • Have concept Validation
  • Be in the following sector: Circular Economy, Agriculture, Health, Water Solutions and Tech
  • Have strong focus on gender balance
  • Be computer literate and have access to a laptop or data enabled device

How To Apply

Stage I: Interested applicants must complete the online form. Applicants will be required to complete all the required fields and upload the following:

  • Passport Photograph
  • School Certificate or Statement of Result
  • Birth Certificate
  • CAC Registration (Optional)

Stage II: Following a review of all received applications, 30 candidates will be shortlisted for a 2-day Bootcamp which will culminate in a Pitch Competition to shortlist the top 20 participants per stream to go through the Incubation programme.
