About Mukinge School of Nursing

Mukinge Mission Hospital was established in 1953 to provide quality healthcare services to the rural people of Kasempa and beyond.

Mukinge Mission Hospital is a grant-aided hospital with a level two status (General Hospital) like Solwezi General Hospital in North Western Province. It was officially opened on 25th July 1953 by the late Dr. Robert L. Foster.

The Hospital is owned by the Evangelical Church in Zambia and affiliated to CHAZ giving it a strong spiritual ministry.

Mukinge School of Nursing Entry Requirements

Applicants must possess the following:

  • Grade 12 with 5 “O” Levels
  • “O” Levels at Credit or better. Subjects: English, Mathematics, Biology/Science, and any other two.
  • To pass both aptitude tests and Oral interviews.
  • In-service/Staff Development
  • 3 Credits (English, Mathematics, and Biology/Science).
  • A Letter of Recommendation from any immediate Supervisor.
