About Mombasa County

Mombasa County is one of the 47 counties of Kenya. Its capital is Mombasa. In terms of economics, it is second after Nairobi. Initially, it was one of the former districts of Kenya but in 2013 it was reconstituted as a county, on the same boundaries.

Qualifications

  • Be a resident of Mombasa County
  • Be a Degree/Diploma holder
  • Be an Artisan Certificate holder
  • Between 21 and 35 years of age
  • Have passion and experience in serving the local community
  • Must be willing to commit their time to the assignment for the entire period of the programme
  • Good communication and excellent writing skills in Swahili and English
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced dynamic working environment
  • Creative and committed in the assignment of duties
  • Readiness to be deployed to any workstation within the County.

Duration of Internship: Six (6) Months
