About Marsabit County

Marsabit County is located in the extreme part of northern Kenya and has a total area of 70,961.2 sq. km. It has an international boundary with Ethiopia to the north, borders Turkana County to the west, Samburu County to the south, and Wajir and Isiolo counties to the east. It lies between latitude 02° 45° North and 04° 27° North and longitude 37° 57° East and 39° 21° East.

Qualifications

  • Be a resident of Marsabit County
  • Be a Degree/Diploma holder
  • Be an Artisan Certificate holder
  • Between 21 and 35 years of age
  • Have passion and experience in serving the local community
  • Must be willing to commit their time to the assignment for the entire period of the programme
  • Good communication and excellent writing skills in Swahili and English
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced dynamic working environment
  • Creative and committed in the assignment of duties
  • Readiness to be deployed to any workstation within the County.

Duration of Internship: Six (6) Months
