Kiriri Women’s University of Science and Technology (KWUST) is a private, women’s only Kenyan university. As a women’s only university, our main objective is to bridge the gap in gender representation in higher education as well as contributing to the social and economic development of the country. The university was founded in 2002 and is accredited by The Commission for University Education (CUE).

The University seeks to recruit qualified and competent staff to fill the below vacant positions;

Job Title: Legal Officer

Job Type: Full Time

Qualification: BA/BSc/HND, MBA/MSc/MA

Experience: 5 Years

Location: Nairobi

Job Field: Law / Legal

Applicant Must

  • Be a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) from a recognized University,
  • Be enrolled as an advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a current practicing Certificate,
  • Be a member of the LSK with good standing,
  • Have at least five (5) years’ experience handling legal matters in a large and reputable organization with experience in civil and criminal litigation, commercial law, labour law, insurance and conveyance,
  • Conversant with the Public Procurement and Disposal Act and Regulations and all labour laws,
  • Have experience in contract negotiations and drafting,
  • Demonstrate high degree of professional competence in legal work and administrative capability in work performance and results,
  • Be a person of outstanding honesty and integrity with high moral and ethical values,
  • Be Computer Literate
  • Having Masters in Law will be an added advantage.

The applicant will be responsible for legal matters in the University.

Job Title: ICT Manager

Job Type: Full Time

Qualification: BA/BSc/HND, MBA/MSc/MA

Experience: 2 – 5 Years

Location: Nairobi

Job Field: ICT / Computer

Applicants Must

  • Have a minimum period of five (5) years relevant work experience, two (2) years should be in Managerial role;
  • Be a holder of Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field from a recognized institution:
  • Be a holder Master’s Degree in Computer Science or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
  • Have a Relevant Professional certification in ICT; CCNP or MCIP/MCSE or CISM/CISA or PMP:
  • Have undertaken a Leadership /Management Course from a recognized institution;
  • Demonstrate a high degree of professional competence and administrative capability as reflected in work performance and results; and
  • Have knowledge of data processing, hardware platforms, and enterprise software applications.
