About Embu County

Embu County is a county in Kenya. The capital of Embu County and the former Eastern province headquarters, Embu is a large and largely metropolitan area with a population of 608,599 persons. The county borders Kirinyaga to the west, Kitui to the east, Tharaka Nithi to the north, Machakos to the south.

Qualifications

• Be a resident of Embu County
• Be a Degree/Diploma holder
• Be an Artisan Certificate holder
• Between 21 and 35 years of age
• Have passion and experience in serving the local community
• Must be willing to commit their time to the assignment for the entire period of the programme
• Good communication and excellent writing skills in Swahili and English
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced dynamic working environment
• Creative and committed in the assignment of duties
• Readiness to be deployed to any workstation within the County.

Duration of Internship: Six (6) Months
