It has its roots in Catholic Tradition, especially as planted and nourished in East Africa (the AMECEA region) through the missionary endeavors which spanned the late 19th and entire 20th centuries.

Position Summary
The Cafeteria Cashier will be responsible for, processing transactions, operating the cash register, communicate with customers and accept or advice on payments from the customers on products and services provided.
Key Duties And Responsibilities (A Detailed Will Be Provided On Appointment)
- Prepare daily sales summary reports at the end of each shift for reconciliation.
- Raise function bills for respective departments for accounting purposes.
- Maintain the work station in a clean state to comply with health and safety requirements and HACCP standards.
- Answer customers’ general questions, and provide information on procedures or policies, and on issues pertaining to food and beverages.
- Perform clerical office duties such as bookkeeping and filing of documents.
- Cooperate with cafeteria manager and follows through with orders.
- Issue receipts to customers and follows standard procedures for issuing cash refunds.
- Enters sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
Qualifications And Experience
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Banking or any other related field
- CPA 1
- At least 2 years’ experience as cashier in a busy environment
- Proficiency in use of accounting systems, experience in the use of Hotel POS software is an added advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office system
