Role:
The Talent Development Specialist will create, develop, implement, and conduct training and development programmes for employees. The Talent Development Specialist will also be required to lead and manage the Skills Development Centre.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Identify training and development needs through surveys, interviews and communication with Department Heads and Managers.
- Develop specific training programmes to fulfil employees’ needs to maintain or improve job skills.
- Initiate the development and continuous improvement of training programmes.
- Develop and implement a communication strategy for training and development programmes.
- Create and maintain training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials.
- Present training and development programmes using various formats including Classroom training, Workshops, E-learning and videos.
- Maintain records of training and development activities, attendance and assessments.
- Evaluate Training programme effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
- Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in training and development.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree, preferably in Learning and Development, HR Development or a related field.
- 3 – 5 years learning and development experience including developing, implementing and delivering training.
- E-learning design experience and expertise in the development, implementation of web-based training modules.
- Ability to do curriculum development, plan and organise new learning initiatives.
- Excellent in planning, coordination and ability to meet deadlines.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be passionate about developing people.
- Skilled in MS Office Suite.
