PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To track, load and report on briefs coming into the fashion office on the PLM (Product Life cycle Management) system. To deal with any / all administrative requests within the fashion office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Capturing CAD information on PLM
- Creating artwork files on the Google Drive
- Backing-up artwork administration
- Photographing of samples
- Maintaining of the print and graphic library
- Maintaining of Pantone library and identifying replenishment needs
- Assisting designers with pulling pantone chips
- Assisting with storyboards and trend books
- Managing and assisting buyers with colour printing
- General administrative duties
- Introduction to CAD design
- Liaising with suppliers regarding artwork.
JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12
- Relevant diploma/certificate will be advantageous( fashion design)
- 2-3 years administrative experience, preferably in a design or buying environment
- Computer literacy, Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
- Excellent planning and organising skills; service orientation; attention to detail; good communication skills; and strong interpersonal and administrative skills.
- To be an abstract thinker and problem solver and willing to go the extra mile for the greater good of the team.
